Day 1: Arrival in Kalimpong – The Gateway to Serenity
Your rejuvenating journey begins as you arrive at the Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. A warm welcome awaits you, and a friendly local representative will guide you to your vehicle for the drive to Kalimpong. The scenic drive takes you through enchanting
landscapes, culminating in an overnight stay at your Kalimpong hotel.
Day 2: Kalimpong to Gangtok – Nature and Culture Unveiled
Start your day by exploring flower nurseries and the serene Jang-Dong-Palriffo Brang in Kalimpong. In the afternoon, you’ll head to Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim. The evening is yours to roam the town, taking in the local flavors. Settle in for a comfortable night at your Gangtok hotel.
Day 3: Gangtok – A Day of Exploration

Your sightseeing includes the Rumtek Monastery, Droul Chorthen, the Research Institute of Tibetology, the Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, and the delightful Flower Show. Enchey Monastery is also on the list, and the evening is at your leisure to continue exploring Gangtok. Your night stay will be in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok to Pelling – The Road Less Traveled
Today, you’ll journey to the enchanting town of Pelling. The 5-6 hour drive unfolds breathtaking landscapes, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable road trip. As you arrive in Pelling, you’ll check into your hotel, anticipating a peaceful night ahead.
Day 5: Pelling – A Day of Spiritual Exploration
This day promises a deeper connection with the spiritual side of the Northeast. First on the list is a visit to the sacred Khecheopari Lake, a place where wishes are believed to come true.
Following a visit to the Pemayangtse Monastery, known for its Nyingma-pa Tibetan Buddhism heritage, you’ll explore Rabdengtse palace ruins, a historical monument. Your day ends with an overnight stay in Pelling.
Now, It’s time to journey to Darjeeling, the renowned hill station. The 5-6 hour drive delivers you to a town known for its tea estates and panoramic views.
Day 7: Darjeeling – Sunrise and Culture
An early start at 4:00 am promises a spectacular sunrise experience at Tiger Hills, with a chance to glimpse the mighty Kanchendzonga Peak, the third highest peak in the world. On your way back, a visit to the serene Ghoom Monastery awaits.
